Matcha Jeans
A heavyweight rigid cotton wide-leg jean with a custom matcha wash. Deep olive denim with a soft yellow-green sun-faded gradient down the front of the thighs. Worn-in from day one. Walk in, wash out, made to drape.
The wash
A custom enzyme and over-dye pulls the fade from sun-bleached vintage workwear. Each pair washed individually, so no two are exactly the same. The yellow-green high points on the thighs come on stronger after the first three wears. The denim relaxes a half-size by month one.
The fit
Mid rise, sits at the natural waist. Wide straight leg from hip to ankle. Designed to break clean over a sneaker or pool over a flat sandal. Model is 5'8". Wearing size M with 32" inseam, unhemmed.
The fabric
Heavyweight rigid 100% cotton denim. No stretch. Heavy enough to hold the wide-leg drape, soft enough to wear straight off the shipper.
Care
Cold wash inside out, hang dry. Avoid tumble dry on the first three washes. That's when the wash settles.
